Normal mexican chain. Was neat but felt slightly expensive

Mighty good taste. Cleanliness of restaurant and staff are much better than in America. I got the Big Bell Box, which consisted of a good sized burrito, a quesa dia, tortilla chips, some deep fried triangle things with the option to put chocolate sauce on them (I did), and a drink. It tasted great, and all for only 750 yen (about $7.00 US). Some posters say that it costs 3 times more than in America, but it is not correct. Very busy even at 2.30 in the afternoon. Lots of westerners there. If needed, the staff speak fine English, and they are very friendly. I will be going back, and should have went sooner!

Very nice space with seating upstairs and downstairs. It's a cantinas so there are frozen margaritas with alcohol in them! The food tasted more fresh than you're typical American Taco Bell. Staff was very helpful even if you dont speak English. Only giving 4 stars because its fast food and you're in Tokyo with so many other great options nearby.

Sold out of the item I wanted to try, but was still pretty good. Overall very similar to taco bells in the US.

They don't have beans at Taco Bell in Japan? No bean burritos? It's O.K. our life will be fine. But after waking a long way, we were hungry and disappointed.

Got a quick bite at this hole on the wall branch of Taco Bell. The food was as expected, but we had to sit upstairs near the door and the workers kept going outside and opening the door - which let the cold breeze in and got us freezing! We went there in early spring so the temperature was at a low 10°. Still, a good place to get something to eat in Shibuya if you don't know where else to go!

Good place, good food. More vegetarian options would be a bonus.

Better than American Taco Bell. Only downside, they don't have the original Taco Bell sauces. They should.

Welll, it's a standard Taco Bell joint.

A nice looking location. For vegetarians used to beans in the US there are no beans here. The Mexican fries are great though and so is the chocodilla!

Taco Bell in Tokyo is worth trying. I had a big burritos which was very good

A must stop for me as the freshest and tastiest taco. Too bad the double decker taco with soft and hard shell is not available in Japan, seasonal item.

It was delicious. I loved the burrito and the nachos. It sells beer too as part of the meal set. It costs an extra 200 yen I think

Japan is good at improving foods from other countries by making them 'Japanese style' with the exception of Mexican food so I always have a craving for American Mexican living here. Taco Bell hit the spot! Prices are better than recent overpriced American burger chains and healthier too because you can choose white meat. 4 stars for not having tear open packs of hot sauce, staff had to prepare individually. Bummer.

Overpriced as heck but where else are you going to get Taco Bell in Japan? It's also better than other countries' Taco Bell generally speaking.

It's Taco Bell... As far as I'm aware it's pretty similar to its American original. A little pricey for what you get (portion size is more Japanese than American!); tastes ok. Mexican food isn't particularly well catered for in Japan generally, so this may fill the need if you have a craving; there are better options out there.

Very delicious! And the staff are so nice and cute!

Very different from the USA taco bell. Try it out if you're in the area!

It's Taco Bell, however it was tastier than what I've had in the States.

I ordered grilled chicken burrito. I was good.Free refill

Liquor at Tbell? Sauce pre added in your food? A superior experience compared to USA

Giving this a five star rating, with the understanding that it's only being compared to other fast food restaurants. That said, it was fantastic. The place is spotless clean, and the employees are nice and attentive and seem to actually care about their work, which even in Japan is sometimes a miss. The food was picture perfect, and compared to Taco Bell in the US the flavor is in it's own league. The ingredients and the care that goes into making the food here is totally different than in the US. I would definitely come back here, though if you're a visitor on a very short trip, please check out more local food unless you really really love Taco Bell. I only come here because I stay in Tokyo quite a lot. :P

Incredible difference from Taco Bell in the states, meals come with fries or Dorito-like Seasoned chips. You pick the taco style, the meats, and then spice level. One thing if they tell you they don't have fries, it might just mean they don't have any fries ready for you at the moment. Was kinda confusing with the language barrier. They had fries again in less than ten minutes.

Fast service, and some of the staff are fluent in english so if you arent able to speak japanese you'll be perfectly fine here.

Quick and friendly service. The staff also can speak English so no need for translation. The food is good.

It is in the center of shibuya. Easu to access and they have many seats and tables so don't need to wait. But the taste was not so specialYou could find better mexican in shibuya

Japanese Taco bell does it right. You can change the spice levels of certain foods, and I definitely recommend some nacho cheese on the side for the fries. Margaritas aren't bad either, if you're feeling a little loco

Honestly it's amazing, it's really difficult to explain what American Mexican food is, and Taco Bell makes that possible. There's also a fountain drink station in the dining area, so it's a nice touch of home. The location is really low-key gives it a hidden gem kind of vibe there are two floors, and across the street there is a hookah lounge and a lot of other really cool shops. The servers speak impeccable English, too!

Compared to other taco bell locations around the world, it’s not the best food out there, but it’s acceptable for a quick snack. I go there quite a bit with friends after a long day to cool down.

They have English speaking staff. The taco bell in japan is different from the states or any other country. The menu is limited. Keep that in mind.

I enjoyed trying the okonomiyaki special taco in the heart of Shibuya. Limited menu (compared to the regular taco bells in California) but the crunch wrap is exactly the same and a delicious change from the normal Japan fare.

It is fast food type place. If you're thinking of partying all night, have a light dinner at taco bell and enjoy the whole night drinks in bar or night club.

The tacos was ok. Too tiny in my opinion. But the services was great. A shout out to Raina who made my daughter’s day by chatting about K Pop & Korea with her. Good luck with your study in Seoul Raina.

Mate, it's Taco Bell and you're in Tokyo...what are you doing with your life.

Definitely visit here if you are looking for a quick and satisfying bite! You can select your choice of meat ie chicken, beef or pork. You can also select your choice of spiciness. Then you can even select your taco to be soft or crunchy. A set meal can come with a drink bar (only iced) and it’s free flow. Their wraps are delicious with thick stuffing that you’ll feel satisfied and craving for more!

Nothing against this place, at all. It's Taco Bell with far superior quality to the ones in the US, but they didn't have "local" variations like other fast food places do. I'd heard about an okonomiyaki burrito, but we either missed it as a seasonal item, or that location didn't have it.

Has power sockets on the tables if you need to charge your laptops or phones

"Expensive" relative to American Taco Bell but the Cheesy Beefy Burrito (Â¥350) was very tasty. The workers spoke English fairly well too, which was nice, but they have a laminated picture book of their menu if you need to communicate that way. Taco Bell in Japan, pretty nifty.
Jon Gurary
Taco bell in Japan is too nice. Unlike its US counterpart, the portions are decent, the place is clean, and the food is expensive. Taste wise, it is pretty close. One of the only places in Japan that refills drinks. A funny experience if you're used to 4am drunk taco bell.

It's Taco Bell! What more can be said? The menu is a little different from what you can get back in the States or Canada. I wish they had nachos. The fries that they serve are seasoned nicely but are a little too salty for my taste.

Since Taco Bell is hard to come by in rural Japan, my friends and I make sure to stop by this Taco Bell I’m Shibuta every time we are in Tokyo! The menu is a bit different from American Taco Bell and it’s quite a bit more expensive, but the food is great! They have the usual Taco Bell trademark foods: tacos (soft and crunchy), nacho fries, Crunchwraps, burritos, etc. and when you order anything with meat in it, you get to choose the meat and the spicy level! More recently, they’ve taken another best seller from the U.S.- a meal box! It’s around ¥700, a bit more than the $5 boxes back home, but it comes with a burrito, a cheese roll-up, cinnamon dusted tortilla chips with chocolate drizzle, and a drink! It’s still a great deal.

It's okay, I will suggest they clean it a little more. The floor was kind of sticky.
Maria Sato
If you miss American Taco Bell this kinda helps but it's definitely different taste. I recommend you get atleast medium spice! Overall it's good, just different. The chips are always stale when I go and I've never eaten the fries. The place is always clean though and the staff is usually very friendly.

Pull pork supreme tacos available, not the average mass minced pork. Japanese special burritos and cozy standard environment. Open until 11PM. If your not feeling the regular sodas,They serve beer here also. Coca Cola/Sprite is on fountain here, not the typical Pepsi.

I've been to the place 10 times in roughly two weeks, different times of the day. The place is just perfect, the food tastes super delicious for a convenient price relative to other restaurants in Tokyo. Also the staff's attitude in many occasions has been very welcoming and friendly. The best place is just the best give it a try if you're in Shibuya.

When I have sudden crave for taco I always go to Taco Bell. They are affordable and their fries is my favourite!
Jason Dale
English speaking staff which is good for tourists. Food is made fresh and quickly. Only thing letting it down is lack of seating in such a busy area.
Jacob McLaws
Fancier than in the states. Large with plenty of seating. 6 of us hung out here eating for a couple hours in the basement.
